This project involved replacing a widespread faucet installed on a pedestal sink. In order to properly access the faucet mounting hardware, it was necessary to carefully detach the pedestal sink from the wall and partially disassemble the drain assembly (P-trap).
Because pedestal sinks are supported by a narrow pedestal base, the work had to be performed with extreme care to prevent damage or cracking of the pedestal or sink basin.
Our team carefully disassembled the necessary components, removed the existing widespread faucet, and installed the new faucet. After installation, the water supply lines and P-trap were reconnected, and the pedestal sink was properly reinstalled and secured.
The sink was then sealed with silicone to ensure a clean finish and proper stability. All connections were tested to confirm proper operation and leak-free performance.
