Relocation of the washer and dryer, installation of a garage sink, and installation of a water softener. Due to limited space, we installed a special stacking platform on top of the washing machine, and the dryer was securely mounted on the platform above it. The dryer vent duct was also modified and reconfigured.
In the space that became available, we installed a water softener, including a bypass system and the necessary drain connection to the sewer line. Since there was previously no sink in the garage, we installed the required tee fittings and angle stop valves, ran a new drain line, and connected it to the plumbing system through the crawlspace.
