The issue in this home was that the kitchen drain outlet coming from the wall was installed too high, which caused water to remain trapped in the P-trap and prevented proper drainage through the piping system.
To resolve this problem, we opened the wall, cut the existing drain line, and relocated the tee connection to a lower position to ensure proper flow. The new piping was securely connected to the existing galvanized pipes using a rubber coupling.
We then properly installed the new kitchen sink and faucet, integrated a garbage disposal air switch button directly into the countertop, installed the garbage disposal with a correctly configured P-trap, and replaced the existing angle stop valves with new ones. Water supply lines and electrical connections for the dishwasher were professionally installed and tested.
Additionally, since the dimensions of the new sink differed from the original one, modifications to the countertop were required to achieve a proper fit. The final result was a clean, reliable, and professionally finished installation.
